Sending Love
As part of a two-part part collaboration with the Viceroy Chicago, we created a short-form video centered on the intimacy of a handwritten note.
Rather than simply showcasing the hotel’s amenities, this piece invites viewers into a quiet ritual — the act of pausing, reflecting, and sending a message from a place worth remembering. The phrase “Sending all my love from Chicago” becomes both a personal memento and a love letter to the city, evoking connection, nostalgia, and the romance of travel.
Our creative direction focused on light, texture, and gesture to create a sense of warmth and intimacy — from the golden desk surface to the deep red of the stationery box and the slow, deliberate motion of pen on paper. The result is a moment that feels human and cinematic, transforming hotel stationery into a symbol of memory and turning a stay at the Viceroy into an experience that lingers long after checkout.
A Morning at the Viceroy Chicago
We also created a series titled A Morning at the Viceroy — a visual journey designed to capture the understated luxury and ritual of waking up in one of the city’s most design-forward hotels.
The narrative begins with the stillness of morning light streaming through the curtains, followed by coffee in bed, a beautifully plated breakfast overlooking the Gold Coast, time spent catching up on the news, and ends with a midday champagne toast — a gentle celebration of slowing down.
Our role spanned creative direction, production, and styling for the series. We developed a shot list that guided the viewer through a complete stay, styled each vignette to highlight the hotel’s rich materials and mid-century-inspired interiors, and captured moments that feel both cinematic and intimate.
The result is a collection of images that reflect the Viceroy’s warm, lived-in elegance and offer potential guests a window into the experience of waking up in Chicago’s Gold Coast.
