We excel in turning vision into impact: harnessing thought leadership, targeted media relations, and immersive brand experiences to amplify our clients’ presence. For us, it’s not just about making noise; it’s about forging meaningful connections that spark interest, drive engagement, and elevate reputations in an ever-evolving marketplace.

At The 847 Collective, we believe in collaboration, bold ideas, and a forward-thinking mindset—tenets that inform every campaign we orchestrate. From building iconic visual identities to crafting pitch-perfect messaging, we operate with an insider’s perspective and an outsider’s curiosity, delivering results that move brands ahead of the curve. The outcome? Integrated strategies that don’t just tell your story, but truly shape the cultural narrative around it.

Hamid Ahmadi

Hamid is a seasoned brand strategist and PR consultant who has shaped high-impact narratives for some of the most esteemed interior design and hospitality brands in Chicago and beyond. At every turn, his knack for exceeding social media benchmarks and driving meaningful engagement underscores a talent for contemporary storytelling—positioning his clients at the forefront of their industries.

Following his studies at DePaul University’s Driehaus School of Business, he joined the Soucie Horner Design Collective—a pivotal moment that allowed him to navigate three distinct verticals: hospitality, interior design, and product development. Here, he played a role in launching signature initiatives like the Wickwood Inn and the SHIIR Rugs Plein Air Collection.

Building on that success, Hamid transitioned to Pierre-Yves Rochon (PYR), contributing to the firm’s Business Development, Marketing, and Public Relations efforts from his base in Chicago. During his tenure, he worked with marquee names such as The Four Seasons, The Ritz Carlton, The Chicago Club, The Dorchester, and The Waldorf Astoria New York. These experiences granted him nuanced insights into the Luxury French & American Hospitality markets and sharpened his cross-cultural approach.

In 2021, Hamid took on freelance consulting, ultimately making it his full-time pursuit in 2024. Now at the helm of The 847 Collective, he continues to deliver on his vision—merging contemporary storytelling with a keen eye for detail—to help clients carve out a distinctive presence in an ever-evolving marketplace.
